Classic Brownies

Who doesn't love Brownies?
I am longing to bake this type and I am so glad I did it! :)

Comparing the recipe to my previous creations (naks! :D ), this is quite simple.
So sometimes, I use the whisk mixer rather than the electric hand mixer to really feel that I am a baker! HAHAHA!

This one I am proud of, it is fluffy, yummy and they love it!
Don't worry, I love it, too! :)

One flaw is the peanuts! I just bought it to the convenience store near our house and it tasted salty
And I put a lot especially at the top!

TIP: Just put peanuts at the top MODERATELY.
As they say, too much of everything is bad!

Overall, it is easy to make but hard to resist! HAHA! :)

S'mores Cupcakes

The ones I baked were my favorite flavors and one of it was S'mores Cupcakes!
Oh la la! An interesting part of baking this kind of cupcake is the Marshmallow frosting.
I did that for two times since the first one was a failure! HAHAHA!
Why? Because I didn't follow the procedure so that is a learning!

TIP: Follow the recipe. :P

The result is somewhat the opposite to the previous one I made. It did not look very appetizing but it tasted better!
My Mom love it!

This is one "unofficial" order I got from my Mom! :D Thank you! :)
I am happy she loved it, they loved it! I will definitely make these soon again!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

What did I bake first? I say Red Velvet cupcakes! 

As I informed my big sister about this, she told me, "That's a difficult one for a start".

Well, YES. I want to challenge myself because when I can do this, I can do the others smoothly!:)

I also love this flavor!

So we went to "All about Baking" at Quezon Ave for the ingredients and materials.

OMG. It's a heaven for bakers! 

Then we're off to make our first cupcake!

My first baking experience is tiring but sweet! It is a success!

The verdict: My mom told me it is not too sweet, she loves the presentation.

My siblings likes its simplicity yet elegant look. As for the taste, a lot of cream cheese was put in the icing! HAHA!

Nevertheless, it was fine for a first time!

Why baking?

I'm a foodie. I love to eat.
But I'm not a cook. I don't how to cook.
And this made me realize that I have to do something new.. To check one of my bucket list.
That is baking.
They say, baking is a combination of measurements and creativity.
I agree. Those are my strengths that's why I pursue this.
I love everything about it..
To understand the recipe, to shop the ingredients, to bake and love the finished products.
And most of all, to see my loved ones enjoy them!:)
